1. What is Pilates?

Pilates is a low-impact exercise method that focuses on strengthening the core, improving flexibility, and enhancing overall body alignment. It involves controlled movements and precise breathing techniques to develop a balanced and strong body.

2. Do I need prior experience to join?

No prior experience is necessary, but if you are completely new to Pilates please book 'First Timer' - this is an introductory class on various equipments.

3. What should I wear to a Pilates session?

Wear comfortable workout attire that allows for full range of movement. Socks with grip are required for traction on the equipment and hygiene, and are sold at the studio. Avoid loose or excessively baggy clothing, long necklaces or earrings. For students with long hair we recommend bringing a hair tie.

4. How long is a typical session?

All group and privates classes last 55 minutes.

5. How do I book a session?

You can easily book a session through our Website. Select the class or session you'd like to attend, choose a suitable time, and follow the prompts to confirm your reservation.

6. What if I need to cancel a session?

28 hours before your session you will receive an email to remind you of your upcoming session. If needed, cancel your session 24 hours prior so another student can book your slot. Refer to our Terms & Conditions for more details on canceling sessions.

7. Do you offer packages?

Yes, we offer various package options to suit different preferences and needs. You can find details on our pricing and packages here.

8. What do I need to bring to a session?

We provide the necessary equipment for our sessions. You may want to bring a water bottle and a small towel.

9. Can Pilates help with weight loss?

While Pilates primarily focuses on strengthening, flexibility, and body awareness, it can complement a weight loss journey by enhancing muscle tone and improving posture. However, it may be more effective in combination with cardiovascular exercises and a balanced diet.

10. Is Pilates suitable for people with injuries or medical conditions?

Pilates can often be modified to accommodate various injuries or medical conditions. However, it's crucial to bring an authorization letter from your doctor and inform your instructor about any limitations or concerns before starting a session so they can provide appropriate guidance.

11. What makes People of Pilates unique?

Our classes have a maximum number of six students and our Studio was designed to feel cozy, calm and filled with natural light. Our equipment is made by Peak Pilates, one of the best in the global market, and our teachers are required to have an Advanced Comprehensive education. We work on different equipment to challenge you in different ways. Our classes ensure there's always something for everyone.

12. Can I bring a friend to watch the class?

In respect and privacy of other students, we kindly ask that only people attending the class are present in the studio.

13. Can i bring my dog to the studio?

We love dogs, but we prefer that pets stay at home to not cause distraction during class.

​

14. How long before my class do i need to be at the studio?

Please arrive no earlier than 10 minutes. When you arrive at the studio the previous students will be cleaning up the equipment or getting ready to leave. All you need to do is remove your shoes and place your bag in the locker.
